Measuring Up

This Thursday

Visceral Fat is that unseen ‘killer fat’ that lies in your abdominal cavity. It can present a serious health issue to the major organs of the body. Unlike our subcutaneous fat, this fat can sometimes be difficult to physically observe, other times it leads to a classic pot-belly appearance, or an ‘apple’ shape. Someone may have a trim appearance but on the inside could be building up extra deposits of visceral fat. A little visceral fat is good (A rating of 1-4 is excellent, 5-8 good) as it can help to protect your vital organs but an excess level presents a greater health risk than just overall body fat. A rating of 9-12 is considered healthy but really should be addressed. And any rating above 13 is considered to be an excess level of visceral fat !

What’s your rating? 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-59? If you’d like to find out then you can come along to FKC HQ and get a personalized assessment free of charge.

We’ll not only provide your visceral fat rating but we’ll give you a complete printout of your body composition data:
