Europe Travel Information


Visa & Passport:   Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the last day of your trip.
                    Some countries will refuse entry if there is not at least 6 months validity on passports after your departure date from their country. Depending on your nationality, you may require a visa to enter certain countries. It is your responsibility to obtain these prior to the departure day of the trip. Consult your agent to determine which visas your will require.

Check in baggage:   Please limit your baggage allowance to a maximum of 20kgs for check in . Maximum allowable size for all bags must not exceed 70cm x 50cm x 25cm.

Carry baggage:  Only one hand carry baggage per person, Please limit your baggage allowance to a maximum of 7kgs. Maximum allowable size must not exceed 44cm x 28cm x 18cm.
                (Do not accept more than 100ml liquid)

Customs:   Tax free import 200 cigarettes, 1 liter alcoholic. Strictly prohibit import meat, vegetables.
Not more than EUR 5000 to leave EUROPE

Electricity:    Italy, Switzerland, France is 220 volts at 50 hertz, (A standard European plug or adapter is required)

Weather:  Europe can be very cold in winter but the climate is extremely dry.

Currency:  EURO is the main currency used in Western Europe. We recommend at lest 1000 euro & Swiss Franc - 300CHF, If you wish to purchase expensive souvenirs, you will need to budget for more, or use your credit cards for these purchases. (Please exchange money before departure)
         


Vat Refund:  Italy – purchase more than Euro145,(tax refund 12%)
                   Switzerland - purchase more than CHF300,(tax refund 7%)
                  France – purchase more than EURO 175,(tax refund 12%)
 
Safety:   Take care with your passport, credit card and money – a money belt to fit beneath your clothes is highly recommended.

Insurance:  We recommend all passengers to take out comprehensive travel insurance before the trip
               Departs medical expenses including repatriation, loss or damage to baggage and personal belongings, money and public liability.
               ** Please MUST bring a copy of your insurance policy during your trip. **
